The Council of Indian School Certificate Examination(CISCE) announced the ICSE and ISC results on 24th July 2021 at The council released the results of over three lakh students at 3 p.m. on that day. The pass percentage for ICSE was 99.98% and for ISC it was 99.76%. Numerous students, all over India were eagerly waiting for their results for the past few months. This year, ICSE and ISC exams were canceled in view of the worsening COVID-19 situation. However, the Council had come up with an alternative assessment scheme for evaluating the students. This is the second year in a row, the Board has adopted a substitute evaluation criteria for declaring class X and XII results. In 2020 when the nationwide lockdown was declared by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, many papers of the then ongoing board exams had to be stopped.

“Given the exceptional circumstances under which the results have been prepared, this year too, the CISCE will
not be publishing the merit lists for the ICSE and ISC Year 2021 examinations,” said Gerry Arathoon (Chief
Executive and Secretary, CISCE).

Douglas Memorial Higher Secondary School has recorded an exceptional result of 100% pass percentage. As for the toppers, no merit list has been released by the board in view of the fact that examinations were not conducted.
However a quick peek at the numbers suggest that students have scored a high as 99.00% in ISC and 97.40%
in ICSE. Koustav Roy(97.40%), Soham Dutta (97.40%), Chiranjit Saha(96.20%), from the ICSE batch and Debdipa
Mukherjee (99.00%), SK Karima Gani (99.00%), Rupam Mondal (98.00%)from the ISC batch, and many more,
performed remarkably well and once again reaffirmed the tradition of our institute ion, which is to produce the best and finest outcomes of the community.
